2017년 겨울에 창녕군에 있는 우포늪에 다녀왔습니다.
우포늪은 원시적 저층의 늪의 그대로 간직되어 있습니다. 75만평에 이르는 천연적으로 생긴 늪속에는 한국의 희귀한 동식물이 서식하고 있습니다. 우포늪은 국내에서는 늪으로는 최대 규모로, 천연의 자연경관을 간직하고 있으므로 자연환경보전지역으로 지정되어 보호되고 있습니다.
우포늪에는 480여종의 식물류, 62종의 조류, 28종의어류, 55종의 수서곤충류, 12종의 포유류, 7종의 파충류, 5종의 양서류, 5종의 패류 등 수많은 생물들이 서식하고 있습니다.
1998년 3월 2일에는 람사스협약에 의거 보존습지로 지정되었습니다.
I went to Upo Marsh in Changnyeong-gun in the winter of 2017.
Upo Marsh is preserved as a primitive low-lying swamp. In the natural-looking swamp of 750,000 pyeong, Korea's rare plants and animals inhabit. Upo Marsh is the largest swamps in Korea, and it is protected as a natural environment conservation area.
Upo Marsh has 480 species of plants, 62 species of birds, 28 species of fish, 55 species of aquatic insects, 12 mammals, 7 reptiles, 5 amphibians, and 5 species of cephalopod.
On March 2, 1998, it was designated as a conservation wetland under the Ramsasag Convention.
보통 우포늪을 방문하게 되면 주차장에 차를 주차하고 생태공원으로 만들어진 길을 따라 걷습니다.
제가 이번에 방문한 방법은 차를 타고 드라이브로 우포늪을 방문하였습니다. 차를 타고 드라이브로 우포늪을 돌아보다보면 목포제방이 있는 곳 즈음에 저 강아지들을 만날 수 있습니다. 이제는 우포늪의 명물이 되었다고 하네요. 강아지들은 매우 순해서 사람들이 만져도 가만히 있고 꼬리를 살랑살랑 흔들면서 다가온답니다.
강아지들과 잠깐 시간을 보내다가 위로 올라가면 전망대에 올라가보실 수도 있습니다. 전망대에서는 우포늪의 전경을 감상하실 수 있습니다.
Usually, when you visit Upo Marsh, you park your car in the parking lot and walk along the road made into an ecological park.
I visited Upo Marsh by car. If you drive around Upo Marsh, you can meet them around the time when the Mokpo Embankment is located. It is said that it has become a specialty of Upo Marsh. The puppies are so gentle that they come by still and gently wiggling their tails even when they are touched.
If you spend some time with your dogs and then go up, you can go up to the observatory. At the observatory, you can enjoy the panoramic view of Upo Marsh.
우포늪을 모두 돌아보신 다음에 추천할 맛집으로는 창녕시내에 위치하고 있는 대중분식당이 있습니다. 창녕 지방의 별미 음식인 메밀국수를 팔고 있습니다. 서울지방 사람들에게는 막국수로 많이 알려져 있으나, 이 지방 메밀국수는 막국수와는 조금 다릅니다. 대중분식당에는 반찬은 고추와 양파 된장이 전부입니다. 된장은 직접 만들어서 고추를 찍어먹으면 매우 맛있습니다. 이 식당의 된장은 먹을 때 마다 집에 싸가지고 가고 싶은 된장 맛입니다.
메밀국수는 시원한 것과 따뜻한 것으로 나누어서 주문하실 수 있습니다. 기호에 따라 시켜드시면 됩니다. 저는 개인적으로 시원한 맛의 메밀국수를 추천 합니다. 그리고 메밀국수는 주인분 께서 바구니에 담아 많이 모자라지 않도록 많이 가져다주십니다. 제 기억에 국수는 리필도 되었던 것으로 기억하고 있습니다. 제일 중요한 국수의 맛입니다. 면은 쫄깃하면서 메밀의 향이 잘 느껴집니다. 국물을 말아놓은 육수는 고기국물을 맑게 우려내었는데 그 맛이 북쪽 지방에서 먹는 막국수와 다른 매력을 가지고 있어 국물을 꼭 다 마시게 됩니다.

The restaurant that you'll recommend after touring Upo Marsh is located in Changnyeong City. We serve buckwheat noodles, a delicacy in Changnyeong. Although many people in Seoul are known as makguksu, buckwheat noodles are a little different from Makguksu. The only side dishes at the public snack bar are chili peppers and onion soybean paste. Doenjang is very delicious when you make your own soup and dip it in red pepper. Doenjang in this restaurant tastes like doenjang, which I want to pack in my house whenever I eat.
You can order buckwheat noodles divided into cold and warm ones. You can order it according to your preference. Personally, I recommend buckwheat noodles with a cool taste. And buckwheat noodles are served in a basket. I remember that noodles were also refilled. It's the most important taste of noodles. The noodles are chewy and smell the buckwheat. Meat broth made of dried soup was made clear, and its taste is different from Makguksu, which is eaten in northern regions, so you can drink all of the soup.
The public snack bar is open 365 days a year. The menu is only one buckwheat noodles.
